Overview
The Nutrition Officer provides technical, operational, and administrative assistance for nutrition programmes within the Country Programme, facilitating development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of results to improve nutrition for vulnerable women and children.
Key Responsibilities

- Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
- Technical and operational support to programme implementation

- Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Nutrition, Health, nutrition, public health, maternal and child health, emergency response, programme management, monitoring and evaluation, partnership development, community health, resource mobilization, health systems strengthening.
- Experience working in Sudan or a developing country is considered as an asset.
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
• Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Health Administration, Public Health, Epidemiology, nutrition, public health, epidemiology, pediatrics, maternal and child health, family health and any other related fields.
