Overview
To provide specialized programme support in managing NGO partnerships, gender integration, accountability to affected populations (AAP), and other cross-cutting priorities, ensuring alignment with WFP policies and contributing to effective and accountable programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full CP management cycle (CFEI, proposal review, FLAs, reporting and closure).
- Lead with the support of activity managers in the management of Field Level Agreements (FLAs).
- Contribute to risk identification and mitigation measures in partner management.
- Strengthen the capacity of CPs on cross-cutting themes.
- Support mainstreaming of gender, protection, inclusion and AAP across all programme activities.
- Participate in gender, protection, inclusion and AAP assessments for interventions in the refugee camps.
- Assist in community engagement and awareness activities.
- Support integration of Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) considerations into programme activities and partner capacity.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Country Office strategy and action plan to mainstream gender, protection, inclusion, and AAP.
- Act as the Programme Unit focal point for the complaint and feedback mechanism (CFM).
- Compile data and support analysis and preparation of reports.
- Ensure timely track of all agreements and field level agreements with partners, food release notes, food and cash distributions, disaggregated beneficiaries, and achievements vs planned in COMET platform.
Required Experience
Minimum five (5) years of relevant working experience in Humanitarian and Development programming including cross-cutting themes. At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in programme support, partnerships, or humanitarian/development operations. Experience working with NGOs and/or community-based programmes is desirable. Experience in gender, AAP, or protection-related activities is an asset.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education, preferably supplemented with a university degree in Economics, social sciences, project management. Relevant certificates on gender, protection, inclusion, accountability to affected people programming and monitoring will be an asset.
