Overview

The Programme Associate (G6) will support the effective implementation of programme activities by ensuring strong coordination, monitoring, reporting, and partner engagement. The role focuses on operational oversight, compliance, and quality assurance across all programme interventions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the overall planning, implementation, and monitoring of programme activities.
  • Coordinate with cooperating partners (CPs) to ensure timely and effective delivery of activities.
  • Facilitate the development of distribution plans and ensure alignment with programme priorities.
  • Conduct regular follow-up on weekly distribution progress and address implementation bottlenecks.
  • Maintain regular communication with CPs to ensure delivery of quality outputs.
  • Provide continuous guidance and feedback to CPs on programme implementation.
  • Follow up on CP performance and compliance with agreed standards and timelines.
  • Ensure proper documentation and communication regarding CP-related activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee M&E activities to track programme performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection, validation, and reporting.
  • Support field monitoring visits and prepare field visit plans.
  • Supervise Monitoring Assistants and provide technical support as needed.
  • Review Field Level Agreements (FLAs) and ensure compliance with organizational requirements.
  • Prepare and review cash requests and cash reports in coordination with relevant units.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial documentation and reporting from CPs.
  • Prepare and consolidate reports, including: Food Release Notes, Monthly Distribution Reports, Data inputs for Annual Country Reports.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all programme data and documentation.
  • Maintain organized records for audit and review purposes.
  • Ensure effective day-to-day coordination with internal teams and external partners.
  • Facilitate clear communication channels between programme teams and CPs.
  • Address issues proactively to avoid delays in programme implementation.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of Monitoring Assistants.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to field staff and CP teams.
  • Identify capacity gaps and support capacity-building initiatives for CPs.
Required Experience

At least 5–6 years of relevant experience in programme management, M&E, or partner coordination. Experience working with cooperating partners and field-based operations is required. Strong understanding of humanitarian or development programme implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
