Overview
The position is located within the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Field Unit Lviv and reports to the Head of Field Unit. The role involves conducting field assessments, coordinating procurement and distribution, and supporting monitoring of shelter interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field assessments to identify urgent needs for emergency interventions and housing solutions projects.
- Identify and flag technical concerns, delays, or risks and suggest responses.
- Coordinate timely procurement, distribution, and monitoring of support to affected populations and program activities.
- Support monitoring of partner implemented shelter interventions.
- Participate in coordination meetings and technical discussions relevant to shelter programme implementation.
- Participate in coordination on shelter activities with local and regional authorities.
- Contribute to the preparation of monitoring updates, summaries, and inputs for internal and donor reporting.
Required Experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Architecture or Construction Engineering (or other related field) is required.
