Overview

The Communications Intern will support regional cooperation and sustainable development initiatives by designing and producing communication materials, and assisting with outreach activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce event flyers, posters, factsheets, infographics, and visual communication materials;
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and communication products;
  • Produce short promotional video clips and event highlights;
  • Support website and social media content development;
  • Assist in photography, video editing, and multimedia production;
  • Support branding and layout design in accordance with UN visual identity guidelines;
  • Assist in outreach and visibility activities related to meetings and regional forums;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).

Languages Required
Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.

Remuneration
The internship is UNPAID. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
