Overview

Support the promotion of DRC's mission, mandate, and advocacy efforts with a focus on global social media channels, creating engaging digital content and contributing to data-driven social media strategies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the production of engaging social media content, including copywriting, short-form video editing, and basic graphic design
  • Assist in the development and implementation of creative campaigns across digital platforms
  • Contribute to storytelling efforts through visuals, infographics, and multimedia content
  • Support the implementation of DRC’s global social media strategy
  • Facilitate collaboration and best practices between HQ and Country Offices
  • Support country teams in delivering high-quality donor communications for national, language-specific, and global channels
  • Track and analyse social media performance across channels
  • Produce regular analytics reports with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Identify trends in humanitarian communication and social media to inform strategy
Required Experience
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., META and LinkedIn analytics)
  • Experience in humanitarian sector and international development (desirable)
  • Experience with Canva Pro (desirable)
Qualifications

• University diploma in graphic design, communications, public relations, filmmaking, or related field
