Overview

Supervise daily activities of case management interventions, focusing on survivors of gender-based violence, and ensure adherence to standards and protocols.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver GBV prevention interventions.
  • Ensure case management delivery aligns with global/DRC SOPs and interagency GBV case management guidelines.
  • Utilize and comply with case management tools, forms, and SOPs.
  • Operate in alignment with interagency referral pathways.
  • Coordinate with service providers for survivor assistance.
  • Document case data confidentially and adhere to information-sharing protocols.
  • Refer individuals needing protection services and follow up on cases.
  • Provide technical guidance for collective PSS activities.
  • Provide technical guidance for Individual Protection Assistance (IPA) activities.
  • Conduct other protection service activities as instructed.
  • Mobilize and build rapport with communities using sensitive approaches.
  • Run weekly case review meetings.
  • Create plans for the Case Management team to meet targets and budget spend.
  • Answer technical case management questions or relay them.
  • Work with implementation partners on project goals and strategies.
  • Provide resources and support to implementation partners.
  • Maintain open communication with implementation partners.
  • Monitor progress with implementation partners.
  • Act as Case Management Team Focal point.
  • Produce quality and accurate reports on CM activities.
  • Oversee archiving of activity reports and case management files.
  • Update the protection case management database accurately.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential case files.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly work planning.
  • Support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Lead data analysis of case management data.
  • Collaborate with other DRC sectors and NGOs.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Advocate for the needs of vulnerable individuals.
  • Lead continuous updating of referral pathways and service mapping.
  • Support coordination of programme support activities.
Required Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in case management, including GBV case management.
  • Previous experience in international organizations and humanitarian settings is a plus.
Qualifications

• Bachelor in Social work, Counseling, Psychology or other related field
