Overview

The HACT Intern will support the implementation, monitoring, and documentation of HACT processes, including partner assessments, assurance activities, and capacity strengthening. The role assists in strengthening HACT compliance, improving documentation, and supporting assurance activities to ensure effective management of cash transfers to implementing partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the HACT partner database (risk ratings, assessments, assurance plans).
  • Support tracking of FACE forms and cash transfer liquidation status.
  • Assist in reviewing partner documentation for completeness and compliance with HACT procedures.
  • Help coordinate assurance activities (spot checks, programmatic visits, audits).
  • Track implementation of assurance plans and follow-up on pending activities.
  • Support preparation of documentation required for micro-assessments and audits.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for HACT documentation.
  • Assist in preparing dashboards and reports on HACT implementation status.
  • Support data analysis on financial risks, partner performance, and compliance trends.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops for implementing partners on HACT procedures.
  • Support preparation of training materials, guidance notes, and briefing documents.
  • Contribute to documenting lessons learned and best practices.
  • Support scheduling of meetings with partners and assurance providers.
  • Assist with communication and follow-up with internal teams and implementing partners.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HACT focal point.
Required Experience
  • Demonstrated interest in finance, auditing, compliance, or development operations.
  • Previous internship or coursework related to financial management or risk management is an asset.
Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or related field.
