Overview
Provide technical and strategic expertise in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) to improve the quality of care in OCBA missions, ensuring evidence-based, integrated, and context-appropriate medical support aligned with MSF standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized SRH technical guidance.
- Strengthen the quality of sexual and reproductive care.
- Monitor SRH performance indicators and field reports.
- Conduct field visits to assess SRH activities, train staff and develop improvement plans.
- Collaborate with other advisors and operational teams.
- Develop SRH strategic documents and technical guidelines.
- Act as a focal technical reference for patient safety and quality within SRH services.
- Support Operational Research concerning sexual and reproductive health.
- Coordinate with other SRH advisors and specialists.
- Contribute to SRH Working Group discussions.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, training sessions and briefings/debriefings.
- Provide functional support to SRH Mobile Implementer Officers (MIOs).
- Liaise with external medical experts and institutions.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years programme experience in different MSF projects (different contexts) or with relevant medical organization working in low-income countries and/or humanitarian settings.
Qualifications
Registered midwife or medical doctor with certified speciality degree in SRH.
