Overview

The Logistics Workforce Unit Coordinator leads the Logistics Workforce Unit (LWFU) to tailor HR and learning strategies for the logistics workforce, aligning recruitment, development, and career paths with operational needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and support workforce referents and logistics mentoring staff.
  • Plan and follow up on the unit’s resources, including staff and budget.
  • Ensure adequate information management within the team.
  • Coordinate the unit’s activities and align them with the overall Logistics Department objectives.
  • Define, prioritize, plan, implement, and disseminate the unit’s activities across its five pillars: Talent Acquisition, Data Analysis, Professional Development, Direct support to LSU, and P&W collaboration & alignment.
  • Collaborate with the P&W department to analyze workforce insights and promote the use of reports and analytical tools.
  • Facilitate transversal platforms such as the LSU/PM/LWFU platform and the Logistics DA/Recruiters/PM/LWFU platform.
  • Contribute actively to the Logistics Department Management Team and OCB’s transformational initiatives.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of international MSF experience as logistician in intervention contexts is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in coordination positions is a strong asset.
  • Education or proven record in Workforce-related processes and change management initiatives is mandatory.

Languages Required
• Proficient level in English and French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
Languages Preferred
• Other commonly used languages in MSF (Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese) are an asset.
