Overview

The Marketing and Campaigns Specialist will plan, execute, and deliver audience-focused fundraising campaigns to grow individual giving revenue. The role involves developing insight-driven campaign plans and creative concepts for digital fundraising channels.


Key Responsibilities
  • Create overarching campaign plans and journeys to deliver annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement annual and seasonal fundraising campaigns across digital channels.
  • Project manage individual giving campaigns, coordinating timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with content specialists, designers, and digital teams for cohesive messaging.
  • Use available data to develop audience targeting and insight development.
  • Conduct additional audience research for responsive fundraising campaigns.
  • Develop clear performance metrics, benchmarks, and reports for individual giving audiences.
  • Set clear KPI targets against each campaign and monitor results.
  • Create and maintain a portfolio of marketing concepts for testing and development.
Required Experience
  • Five years (seven years for university degree holder) of experience in fundraising, marketing, or campaign management (preferably in a nonprofit or NGO setting), with at least 3 years in a global, regional or multi-market role.
  • Five years (seven years for university degree holder) of experience in developing individual giving or business to consumer campaign plans, budgets and targets.
  • Five years (seven years for university degree holder) of experience developing individual giving or business to consumer propositions and creative from briefing through to execution.
  • Track record of using available audience insights and behaviour to inform campaign planning and development.
  • Familiarity with donor CRM systems, social media platforms, email and marketing automation tools.
  • End to end management and evaluation of multi-channel campaigns, with a focus on digital.
  • Marketing agency experience.
  • Donor journey mapping.
  • Development of customer segmentation approaches.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-profit Management, Fundraising or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or,
  • University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience.

Languages Required
• Fluency in English is required (oral and written).
Languages Preferred
• Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is an advantage.
Contract Duration
9 months with possibility of extension
