Overview

Online Volunteers are sought to support the research and writing of web stories highlighting the experiences and contributions of UN Volunteers in India.


Key Responsibilities
  • Create and curate engaging web content (short articles) featuring UN Volunteers for publication on the UNV website, applying storytelling techniques and incorporating available multimedia elements.
  • Conduct interviews with and gather information from UN Volunteers serving in the areas of Child Protection, Climate Change, and the Adi Yuva Fellowship Programme in India.
  • Draft three web stories in accordance with UNV web writing guidelines.
  • Incorporate relevant multimedia elements, such as photographs and other visual content provided by UNV.
Required Experience
  • Candidate should have excellent writing skills, strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling narratives that capture the reader's attention.
  • Willingness to adapt the writing style to align with UNV guidelines and requirements.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for storytelling and the ability to evoke emotions and create connections through written words.
