Overview
The retainer will provide specialist configuration support for Talent+, working at the intersection of HR operations, IT, and system administration to ensure the ATS is responsive to changing organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with People and Culture Group (PCG) stakeholders to understand configuration needs and system change requests.
- Facilitate structured conversations to clarify requirements, assess scope, and identify dependencies before implementation.
- Document requirements clearly and maintain a shared record of requested and completed changes.
- Work closely with IT colleagues to implement configuration changes within Talent+ (Avature ATS and Onboarding) as per agreed requirements.
- Support both routine, low-complexity adjustments and more complex configuration tasks requiring analysis and coordination.
- Test configuration changes prior to deployment and flag issues or risks to the relevant focal point.
- Serve as a technical liaison between PCG stakeholders and IT during configuration processes.
- Provide timely updates on the status of ongoing changes and communicate any blockers or risks.
- Escalate issues requiring higher-level decision-making as appropriate.
- Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, changes made, and rationale.
- Support quality checks to ensure configurations meet stated requirements and do not introduce unintended system behavior.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system requirement analysis and the technical implementation of SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record in the end-to-end configuration of Avature, specifically regarding Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Onboarding modules.
- Experience in process mapping and optimizing HR workflows to improve user experience and ensure system efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate structured conversations with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and assess project scope.
- Ability to perform impact analysis on proposed changes to ensure stability across interconnected, multi-step system workflows.
- Experience maintaining technical configuration logs, rationale documentation, and clear system change records.
- Experience performing high-level system administration and troubleshooting within a global organizational context.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM field, with 4 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM field with 2 years of relevant experience.
