Overview
This assignment involves graphic design and professional layout of the Common Country Analysis (CCA) report for Aruba, transforming it into a visually compelling and publication-ready product for outreach and policy engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a clean, coherent design system aligned with United Nations branding guidelines.
- Integrate text, data visualizations, and infographics into a consistent layout.
- Convert the finalized CCA manuscript into a high-quality output suitable for digital and physical dissemination.
- Prepare optimized, interactive-ready PDFs with functional navigation, hyperlinks, and accessibility features for digital publication.
- Prepare press-ready files with appropriate specifications for print.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience in editorial design, publication layout, and the production of high-quality reports.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work on reports, policy documents, or similar long-form publications, ideally within development, public sector, or international organization contexts.
- Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with digital publishing formats (interactive PDFs) and print production requirements.
- Adaptability in using emerging AI-assisted design tools.
