Overview

This role supports community-building and event management for the SDG AI Lab, focusing on strengthening outreach and driving impactful events from planning to execution.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating and sustaining community engagement activities, including outreach to partner organizations, stakeholders, and target groups.
  • Support the team in building and maintaining relationships with relevant networks and communities of practice.
  • Provide hands-on support throughout the planning and implementation of hackathons and innovation challenges, including logistics coordination, participant engagement, documentation, and post-event reporting.
Required Experience

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in community engagement, event coordination, programme support, or a related area. Prior exposure to innovation ecosystems, hackathons, or UN/NGO environments is an advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Advanced level of English (written and spoken), with the ability to draft professional documents, correspondence, and communication materials fluently.
