Overview
Support the development of a practical training course on gender-responsive Local Economic Development (LED) for municipalities by researching and curating examples, drafting course modules, and preparing training materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of course content, including learning objectives, session outlines, key messages, and suggested readings.
- Identify and compile good practice examples, tools, and case studies on gender-responsive LED.
- Support liaison and coordination with relevant teams and specialists to gather inputs and examples.
- Support quality assurance of the final package and help prepare materials for delivery.
Required Experience
- Strong research and synthesis skills.
- Knowledge of gender equality and women’s economic empowerment and/or local economic development, local governance or municipal service delivery.
- Experience developing training/learning materials and/or supporting course design (including e-learning content) is an asset.
- Excellent command of written English, with strong drafting and editing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and incorporate feedback.
- Comfort working with templates and style guidance.
