Overview
The European Commission is seeking a Policy Officer - Anti-Fraud to contribute to the legality and regularity of Research & Innovation expenditure by means of ex-post financial audits.
Key Responsibilities
- - Contribute to the definition and implementation of the R&I Common Anti-Fraud Strategy
- Coordinate the implementation of the Action Plan of the R&I family Anti-Fraud Strategy (RAFS), and the Commission Anti-Fraud Strategy (CAFS)
- Provide policy advice on fraud prevention and detection in R&I
- Prepare documents, reports, analyses as well as trainings, briefings, and presentations
- Contribute to fraud risk analysis, fraud risk assessments, policy advice, development and implementation on fraud prevention and detection in R&I
- Prepare files, reports and briefings for the hierarchy on fraud-related matters
- Contribute to communication activities on fraud prevention and for anti-fraud awareness raising
- Act as back-up to the OLAF and EPPO correspondent, for the coordination of the relations between DG Research and Innovation, OLAF and the EPPO
- Ensure the Secretariat of the Fraud and Irregularities in Research (FAIR) Committee
Required Experience
Experience in audit, control, anti-fraud policy and/or risk management. Specific knowledge in anti-fraud policy is a particular asset. Additional knowledge of EU Programmes and experience with the financial, legal and regulatory aspects of EU funded grants will be considered as an asset.
Qualifications
Have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma.
