Overview
This role involves contributing to EU policies and initiatives with significant financial impact from a treasury perspective. The successful candidate will gain experience in treasury operations and financial fields such as budgetary guarantees and financial instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the preparation of forecasting and monitoring of complex payments related to the Common Provisioning Fund (CPF), the Innovation Fund (IF), and EU financial instruments.
- Contribute to the engineering of cash flow circuits for new EU financing instruments and structures.
- Contribute to the optimisation of liquidity management for Next Generation EU (NGEU), the Common Provisioning Fund (CPF), the Innovation Fund (IF), and EU financial instruments.
- Facilitate financial support to Ukraine.
- Support the Accounting Officer in exercising independent control and oversight of asset management activities.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Experience in treasury would be a distinct advantage.
Qualifications
• Educational and professional background in finance, ideally with accounting and/or asset management.
