Overview
The MEAL Assistant will support quantitative and qualitative data collection and field visits for Oxfam Lebanon’s programmes in the South, ensuring effective MEAL systems implementation to drive programme quality and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in quantitative and qualitative data collection.
- Support in field visits required by Oxfam Lebanon’s programmes in the South.
- Ensure effective, coordinated MEAL systems implementation.
- Support the development and implementation of a systematic approach to MEAL.
- Ensure Oxfam and partner teams can effectively track outputs and outcomes.
- Manage data effectively for reporting and learning purposes.
- Ensure programmes are in line with Oxfam’s minimum standards.
Required Experience
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in working with communities in humanitarian contexts, in particular with refugee and migrant populations.
- Previous experience in working in partnership with national organizations.
- Willingness to work in insecure environments and a high level of adaptability and initiative.
