Overview
Support evaluative work led by the Regional Evaluation Specialist for Asia and the Pacific, focusing on enhancing accountability, informing decision-making, and contributing to learning on gender equality and women's empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection and background research for evaluations.
- Manage the repository of evaluation documents.
- Analyze preliminary data and assist with portfolio building.
- Identify key documents and conduct stakeholder analysis.
- Review inception and draft reports for data accuracy.
- Update and maintain UN Women Evaluation database and knowledge management system.
- Assist in updating internal and external evaluation knowledge management systems.
- Develop knowledge and/or communications products related to evaluation.
- Assist in gender-responsive evaluation capacity building and tool initiatives.
Qualifications
- University studies in social science, gender issues, evaluation, political science, political economy, public administration or international development or other relevant subjects is required.
Meet one of the following:
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme.
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme.
- Be enrolled in a mandatory national service programme.
- Have recently graduated with a university degree and start the internship within two years of graduation.
