Overview
Provide operational support services in specialized areas including procurement, financial, and human resources management to facilitate the smooth functioning of the country office and its programme activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver services and transactions in procurement, financial, and human resources management.
- Maintain consistency and compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Deliver processes and standard transactions aligned with business plans.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, workshops, and training courses.
- Identify areas for process and procedure improvement.
- Review and process financial and contractual documents.
- Prepare draft contractual instruments.
- Support the administration of the Human Resources plan and HR support services.
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five years relevant work experience in administrative support services and transactions, including experience in finance, human resources, and/or procurement.
- Experience in administrative support positions within WHO or another United Nations agency is desirable.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education.
- Training and/or certification in one or more UN operational service areas or systems or a university degree (bachelor’s level) in Finance, Accounting, or Administration or other similar fields is desirable.
