Overview
Support the implementation of a project focused on job provision and socio-economic inclusion to facilitate the transition to formal employment in Türkiye.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
- Compile, summarize, analyze, and present project information and data.
- Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments.
- Act as a focal point for administrative coordination.
- Draft status reports, correspondence, and project documentation.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions, and prepare training materials.
- Respond to information requests and maintain files.
- Participate in meetings and maintain liaison with stakeholders.
- Monitor work of implementing partners and report non-compliance.
- Provide inputs for SOPs and concept papers.
- Provide guidance/training and coordinate/monitor work of other staff, potentially supervising staff.
Required Experience
- High School diploma with six years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations in the field of migration management.
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of migration management related subject areas (specifically labour migration and livelihood).
- Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming.
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution.
