Overview
Provide technical and operational support in project and TA administration, processing, and implementation in the public sector management and governance sector. Conduct sector analyses and policy dialogues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sector research, update information on public sector management and governance, analyze macro-fiscal, institutional, or economic issues, and prepare analytical reports.
- Act as a sector focal point and coordinate with government agencies and ADB Headquarters staff.
- Participate in loan processing missions, reform discussions, and provide technical written inputs.
- Facilitate the formulation and processing of loan and TA projects.
- Provide comments on draft bidding documents, Bid Evaluation Reports, and social safeguard documents.
- Undertake comprehensive project review missions independently and prepare necessary documentation.
- Prepare and update forecasts of contract awards and disbursements.
- Monitor PSMG portfolio, track reform progress, and resolve bottlenecks.
- Participate in Country Portfolio Review and Country Programming Missions.
- Prepare Project Completion Reports / TA Completion Reports.
- Guide junior officers.
Required Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in project management and implementation.
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years is required.
- Experience & knowledge of various stages of the project cycle (project planning / feasibility analysis / detailed design / project implementation /contract management) is desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in economics, management, public policy or relevant fields, preferably with Master's Degree or equivalent.
