Overview
Support the delivery, quality, and policy relevance of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition’s (CCAC) science products, ensuring they are scientifically robust and translated into actionable insights for policymakers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of scientific assessments and publications, including project management and tracking progress.
- Support coordination with contributing authors and partner organisations involved in CCAC assessments and science products.
- Support the development of science products, including assessments, guidance documents, science briefs and other analytical outputs.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects aimed at advancing super pollutant science.
- Support coordination of the CCAC Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP) and support delivery of its workplan and outputs.
- Contribute to the development and management of the CCAC science–policy interface.
- Support science outreach and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide scientific review and quality assurance of CCAC communications and technical materials.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in a field relevant to climate or air quality research, or related work is required.
- Experience synthesizing and communicating complex scientific or technical information into policy-relevant analytical products or communication outputs for non-technical audiences is required.
- Experience supporting science-policy processes, environmental assessments or international environmental initiatives is desirable.
- Experience working with international organizations, scientific institutions or multi-stakeholder partnerships is desirable.
- Familiarity with super pollutants (methane, black carbon, HFCs and tropospheric ozone) and mitigation strategies is desirable.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in climate science, atmospheric science, data science, public policy related to climate or environment, or a closely related field is required.
