Overview
This profile leads and coordinates the financial management and administrative functions of the Cluster Delegation to support programming and ensure the facilitation of National Society work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly financial cycle and coordinate audits.
- Conduct capacity risk assessments for project partners.
- Prepare monthly financial analysis reports and monitor KPIs.
- Oversee preparation of donor financial reports and support audits.
- Manage Cluster Delegation funds and financial assets.
- Coordinate budget compilation and monitor expenses.
- Prepare and submit monthly cash requests.
- Monitor National Society advances and ensure clearance.
- Support emergency budget preparation and participate in Joint Task Forces.
- Support National Society development initiatives and conduct training.
- Conduct 100% check on Cluster Delegation procurements.
- Supervise day-to-day management of IFRC premises and outsourced functions.
- Implement standardized filing and archiving systems.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years in finance and administration management position
- Minimum of 2 years work experience with an International Organisation, international non-governmental organization, NGO and/or government development agency
- Experience working with the International Red Cross / Red Crescent Movement
- Experience in Team Management and remote support
- Experience in plan & budget, financial analysis & statements, reporting & treasury management, external financial audit
- Experience working in multicultural environment
Qualifications
- Relevant university degree (bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent)
- Professional qualification in accounting (Chartered accountant, CPA or equivalent)
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a finance concentration or a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance
