Overview
Provide technical and operational support to the implementation, monitoring and reporting of FETUR programmes and projects, contributing to effective programme delivery through information management, documentation, operational follow-up and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational support to the implementation and monitoring of FETUR programmes and projects.
- Support the implementation of specific projects including Brucellosis Control and Responsible Investment for Peace and Social Cohesion.
- Assist in the implementation and follow-up of programme and project activities, workplans and implementation schedules.
- Support the collection, compilation and analysis of programme and project information, data and progress updates.
- Contribute to the preparation, review and quality assurance of technical, operational and progress reports, briefing materials and other project-related documentation.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Assist in maintaining programme and project information in relevant FAO corporate systems.
- Support communication, information-sharing and administrative follow-up with stakeholders.
- Facilitate the organization of meetings, workshops, trainings, field missions and other programme and project events.
- Support the preparation and follow-up of Letters of Agreement (LoAs), procurement processes and other operational actions.
- Contribute to the preparation of concept notes, project proposals and background documents.
- Support budget monitoring and implementation follow-up.
- Participate in relevant technical, coordination and consultation meetings and prepare summaries, meeting notes and follow-up actions.
- Contribute to knowledge management, visibility and communication activities.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in supporting programme and/or project management, implementation support, monitoring and reporting, preferably in the areas of agriculture, rural development, food systems, natural resource management, livelihoods or related sectors.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in agriculture, economics, rural development, international development, public administration, business administration, social sciences or a related field.
