Overview

The role is for a talented merchandiser to partner with the buying team to plan, develop, and deliver an ethical, commercial, and profitable product range for shops, wholesale, and online channels. The purpose is to optimise sales and maximise unrestricted funds for Oxfam.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse trading patterns across different channels.
  • Take actions to optimise sales and maximise the generation of unrestricted funds.
  • Control department stock levels effectively against plan.
  • Challenge correct stock levels in relation to current trade performance.
  • Manage the department open-to-buy budget.
  • Continually identify risks/opportunities to maintain flexibility and optimise performance.
  • Build relationships quickly with a worldwide, ethical, fair trade supply base and multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
  • Use data and analytics to drive decision making.
Required Experience
  • Previous merchandising experience at merchandiser, junior merchandiser or experienced assistant level.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and experience.
