The Ebola Hub Coordinator will provide strategic leadership, programme management, and technical coordination of UNICEF operations within the Butembo Hub, ensuring effective leadership and contributing to Ebola preparedness and response efforts.
A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in programme management, planning, monitoring and evaluation, project administration, or a related field is required. Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams is required. Humanitarian Coordination, Emergency Leadership, Outbreak Coordination are required skills. Experience in outbreak response (Ebola, cholera, COVID-19, or other public health emergencies) is highly desirable. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts. Relevant experience within a United Nations agency or organization is also considered an asset. Familiarity or experience in emergency settings is considered an asset.
An advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) is required in one of the following fields: social sciences, international relations, public administration, government and public relations, public or social policy, sociology, social or community development, or any other relevant technical field.
