Overview
The position is accountable for the overall supervision of all plant operations-related functions within the buildings of the Bank's Headquarters Campus, ensuring continuous operation of engineering systems and proper environmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures continuous, uninterrupted operation of engineering systems and proper environmental conditions.
- Develops and oversees implementation of the annual preventive maintenance program.
- Reviews plans for construction activities and provides quality control for HVAC systems.
- Coordinates with Project Managers and Building Managers on projects.
- Assists in the development of annual budget requirements and monitors expenditures.
- Monitors the condition and efficiencies of engineering systems and equipment.
- Advises GCS communications team of scheduled and emergency interruptions.
- Monitors service requests and escalates as needed.
- Maintains a client focus and establishes a professional rapport with occupants.
- Directs and monitors the performance of staff members assigned to the engineering team.
Required Experience
- Fifteen years' experience in the operation and maintenance of physical plants for large office buildings or equivalent facilities with complex engineering/plant operation facilities.
- Two years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- 3rd Class DC Steam Engineer's license or equivalent.
