Overview
Responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Joint Programme 'Accelerating Progress towards Rural Women’s Economic Empowerment' (JP RWEE) in Tanzania. The role involves leading, coordinating, and overseeing programme implementation and liaising with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coordination mechanisms of the JP RWEE.
- Organize and lead meetings with the Technical Working Group and National Steering Committee.
- Oversee programme implementation in line with approved proposal and annual work plan.
- Ensure timely start-up and address challenges to implementation.
- Lead quarterly review processes and annual review workshops.
- Supervise the JP RWEE MEAL Coordinator.
- Develop and implement a communications plan.
Qualifications
• Advanced University degree in International Development, Gender studies, Behavioral Economics, Sociology, Agriculture, Rural Development or other field relevant to international development assistance, or First University Degree with more than five years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.
