Overview

The incumbent will identify and develop relationships with influential media, write press materials, and produce information for internal and external audiences. The role focuses on updating response situations, coordinating donor briefing papers, and collecting case studies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and proactively develop relationships with influential Bangladesh media (Cox’s Bazar).
  • Write/ guide newsworthy press materials for both national and international media.
  • Produce quality information and documentation targeted at both internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate and produce donor briefing papers.
  • Collect case studies (both written and AV), success stories and document programmes.
  • Coordinate high-level visits, in particular and other content gathering visits.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years in journalism, communications, or media relations with proven success in securing media coverage and handling press activities.
  • Strong understanding of the local and national media landscape, with established media contacts and experience managing social media platforms.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g., Journalism, Media Relations/ Communications, with solid computer skills, basic social media analytics knowledge, and strong documentation and communication background.
