Overview
The Technology and Logistics Intern will assist in research, policy analysis, and communication document enhancement within the Division of Technology and Logistics. The role supports the implementation of division priorities and technical assistance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in undertaking research and policy analysis on trade, technology and development issues.
- Assist in preparing inputs into briefing notes and speeches for the Director.
- Assist in undertaking specific tasks in researching and collecting relevant documents for division evaluation.
- Supporting the preparation of the Division’s upcoming events and communication exercise.
- Provide substantive and logistical backstopping for technical assistance activities.
- Attend, service, and summarize conferences, webinars and meetings.
Required Experience
No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or,
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Should be computer literate in standard software applications.
