Overview
Manage the HR programme for WCO-Bangladesh, including performance management, recruitment, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and facilitate compliance with performance appraisals.
- Assist in organizing short-term recruitment processes.
- Interface with HR, Planning, and Budget Units for recruitment and contract renewals.
- Coordinate induction training for staff.
- Manage and track contract status of all staff.
- Facilitate actions related to contract management and entitlements.
- Prepare HR reports for management decisions.
- Assist in planning, drafting ToRs, and recruitment for SSA and Consultant contracts.
- Support preparation and implementation of policy changes for non-staff contracts.
- Support procurement and technical units in HR outsourcing.
- Monitor and report on SSA, third-party personnel, and Consultant contracts.
- Provide back-up for the Operations Specialist.
- Draft HR-related communications and reports.
- Support the WHO Head of Country Office in HR and workforce planning.
- Lead the day-to-day functioning of the HR unit.
- Provide guidance to staff on HR policies, regulations, and entitlements.
- Respond to routine HR-related queries.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience
- At least two years' experience in human resources management in an international organization.
- Experience in supporting grant project and portfolio teams and professionals (desirable).
- Some experience working in the areas of performance management, staff development, and staff entitlements within the UN system (desirable).
Qualifications
- University degree in human resources management, public or business administration, law or other relevant social sciences (essential).
- Master's degree in human resources management, public or business administration, law or other relevant fields (desirable).
