Overview
The Intern – Supply Chain will be responsible for managing resource management functions in Senegal, supporting procurement and asset management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the consolidation of procurement requisition forms.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and solicitation of bids.
- Support the monitoring of open requisitions and follow up on timely delivery of goods and services.
- Assist in reviewing vendor invoices and preparing payment requests.
- Support the creation and maintenance of procurement records.
- Participate in market surveys to identify potential new suppliers.
- Assist in tracking contractual agreements and monitoring office supplies.
- Provide support to fleet operations activities.
- Assist in supply chain tasks related to property and asset management, warehousing, and transportation.
Required Experience
- Experience in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis.
- Experience delivering high-quality outputs within set timeframes, demonstrating excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first University degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent), or in a Master's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; or,
- Have graduated with a University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and if selected, must commence the internship within one year of graduation.
