Overview

Support programme development and donor liaison efforts, particularly in the scope of migration management. Facilitate procedures related to partnership strategies, programme development, and donor liaison.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support project development actions by maintaining contact with donor counterparts and developing, reviewing, and submitting proposals, concept notes, appeals, MoUs, Special Conditions, and contracts.
  • Assist programme management in preparing concept notes and other project proposal documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating, drafting, and editing reports for donors and the Country Office in English.
  • Assist in collating and implementing the Programme Development, Strategy, and Support Unit Work Plan.
  • Assist in typing and editing Mission’s institutional documents.
  • Assist in providing technical support for the organization of meetings and consultations with donors.
  • Support the development of updates on donor profiles and donor intelligence.
  • Maintain understanding of IOM Türkiye-implemented programmes and donor requirements.
  • Keep accurate records of correspondence and project development files.
  • Undertake duty travel within Türkiye as required.
Required Experience
  • University degree with three years of relevant professional experience; or
  • Completed high school degree with five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in working, editing, and writing documents in English.
  • Proven experience working in resource mobilization or project development.
  • Experience in technical writing and editing, preferably in international development and humanitarian fields.
  • Working knowledge of donor liaison and project development is an asset.
  • Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable individuals.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies, NGOs, and private sector.
Qualifications
  • University degree in English, Politics, International Relations, or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or
  • Completed high school degree from an accredited academic institution.
