Overview

The Training Analyst Intern will support the Digital Technology Training Development project, focusing on strengthening training capabilities for Peacekeeping and Special Political Missions by conducting learning needs assessments and developing digital and blended training programmes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the conduct of Learning Needs Assessments (LNAs) and curriculum design processes.
  • Assist in the development, review, and revision of learning content and supporting materials.
  • Apply appropriate adult learning strategies and instructional design principles.
  • Support the application of experiential and reflective learning methodologies.
  • Assist with pedagogical analysis, including content mapping, scenarization, and storyboarding.
  • Support the development of curricula in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to the design of blended learning programmes.
  • Assist in testing and quality assurance of courses and learning materials.
  • Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Support the documentation, synthesis, and presentation of Learning Needs Analysis findings.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Experience

Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.

Qualifications
  • HS Diploma.
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
  • OR be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme.
  • Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, or similar.

Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Languages Preferred
Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is desirable.
