Overview
Provide support for the implementation of Logistics functions in Southern Ukraine.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines
- Implement the delegated support function portfolio according to the plan of action
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
- Ensure proper filing of documents
- Promote and share ideas for improvement of the logistics function
- Fleet management
- Organisation of cargo transportation to the Project Participant based on the distribution plan.
- Prepares necessary information for submission to other logistics staff and program team if requested to do so.
- Preparation of a weekly movement plan
- Preparation of a daily movement plan
- Monitoring the condition of vehicles and timely maintenance
- Organisation of cargo transportation to the Project Participants based on the distribution plan.
- Keeping track of transportation in a report.
- To carry out other logistics duties as assigned in other departments as temporary relief, if required to do so.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Logistician.
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Documented results related to the position's responsibilities.
- Willing to travel to remote areas and to field offices, ability to work flexibly, including weekends, and willingness to travel and work in rural locations and live in basic conditions.
- Experience in the humanitarian sector will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- BA Degree in Logistics or equivalent.
- Microsoft Word/Excel skills.
