Provide technical support in developing ADB's climate change, environment, and disaster risk management agenda. Work with regional or primary team members on upstream analysis, country partnership strategy development, and annual programming.
At least 8 years of work experience in climate change mitigation and adaptation is required. This experience should also include climate change policy, climate finance, and project development work. A broad understanding of the climate change agenda, policy and strategy is necessary. In-depth experience in at least one sector, including experience in Pacific DMCs, is preferred. Knowledge of development organization's products, processes, and systems is preferred. Demonstrated experience conducting research and producing analytical and technical reports in English for diverse audiences. Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with experience working across internal and external teams. Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years is required.
Bachelor's degree in climate, environmental sciences, economics, engineering, or related fields, with advanced training.
