Overview

The Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Associate will support the Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Unit in strengthening donor intelligence, partnership development, proposal coordination, donor stewardship, reporting, knowledge management, and resource mobilization efforts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Map potential donors, maintain and update partner tracker and develop tailored partnership strategies.
  • Conduct horizon scanning and donor intelligence by monitoring funding opportunities, donor priorities, government initiatives, philanthropic trends and private sector engagement opportunities.
  • Support the RM Specialist in maintaining effective coordination between technical program and states teams.
  • Facilitate the consolidation and review of donor proposals and concept notes.
  • Support in consolidating pre-screening forms of the new donors/partners.
  • Assist the RM Specialist in coordinating the management of agreements.
  • Coordinate and support communication with donors and partners, preparing compelling presentations, briefing notes and related documents.
  • Support in preparing and maintaining comprehensive analysis, briefs, reports and statistics on resource mobilization.
  • Participate in corporate networks of partnership management, resource mobilization communities for knowledge sharing, networking and learning.
  • Identify, capture, synthesize and develop human-interest stories in collaboration with the Communications team.
  • Maintain and regularly update the Country Office's partnership pipeline, donor engagement tracker and funding opportunity calendar.
  • Work closely with the country and state offices teams to ensure RM, partnerships and innovation aspects are well internalized and integrated.
  • Support the coordination, consolidation and quality assurance of donor reports.
Required Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in partnerships and resource mobilization at national and/or international level or experience working in the UN or other international organizations.
  • Good knowledge of the donor ecosystem and the development actors.
  • Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email/internet; familiarity with database management.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Administration, International Development or related field from a reputed institute. Post Graduate degree will be an asset.

Remuneration
•Monthly Voluntary Living Allowance (VLA): INR 70158.41 •Entry lump sum (one-time payment): USD 350 (equivalent in INR) •Relocation costs: $175 at the beginning and end of the assignment if the duty station is outside of commuting distance (as determined by UNV) •Exit allowance (paid on successful completion of the assignment): $120 for each month served, paid on completion of contract •Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for health, life, and malicious acts •Annual leave: 2.5 days per month •Learning: Access to UNV's learning and career development resources
