Overview
The Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator will support and enable the implementation of the Blue Dot Network (BDN) initiative by developing and managing integrated communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and analyse stakeholders across the infrastructure investment ecosystem.
- Support targeted outreach to prospective partners and manage ongoing relationships.
- Support the organisation and implementation of stakeholder consultations, working groups and strategic dialogues.
- Identify strategic opportunities for collaboration.
- Support the development of an integrated communications and outreach plan.
- Promote the visibility and awareness of the BDN.
- Prepare briefing notes, pitch decks and partnership proposals.
- Draft and deliver high-quality communications products including blogs, articles, newsletters, video clips, case studies, talking points, speeches, social media content and web copy.
- Keep the BDN website up to date.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards on outreach progress and partnership development.
- Plan, co-ordinate, and execute events such as workshops, webinars, conferences and panel sessions.
- Collect audience insights and feedback.
- Track developments in infrastructure financing trends, sustainability standards and certification ecosystems.
- Co-ordinate content development with external partners, internal leadership and communications teams.
Required Experience
- Minimum of three-to-five years demonstrated experience in business development, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, or strategic communications, ideally within the infrastructure, finance, or international development sectors.
- Understanding of infrastructure financing, public-private partnerships (PPPs), ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards, development finance, or global sustainability frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships across public and private sectors.
- Experience working with multilateral institutions, development banks or public-private partnerships would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with certification systems or quality infrastructure standards would be an advantage.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in international relations, business, public policy, sustainable development, communications or a related field.
