Overview

This is an open call for a roster of qualified interns to provide exposure to development issues and hands-on experience within the UNDP working environment. The roster will serve as a pool of candidates for internship assignments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support in research, analyses and studies.
  • Identify national, regional and international data sources.
  • Provide operational support to project activities, including logistic and administrative support to events.
  • Provide support to communication activities.
  • Attend and assist with the preparation of conferences and events.
  • Facilitate effective communications and information management support.
  • Provide support to external relations activities.
Qualifications
  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme.
  • Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme.
  • Have recently graduated with a university degree and start the internship within one-year of graduation.
  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program.
Other Details
Languages Required
Excellent knowledge of written and oral English language is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of Serbian language would be considered an asset.
Contract Duration
No less than six weeks and no more than six months.

Remuneration
A stipend intended to help cover basic daily expenses related to the internship, such as meals and transportation at the duty station, will be paid by the receiving office, where an intern is not financially supported by any institution or programme.
