Overview
Conduct research on early and child marriage within Roma communities in Moldova, developing methodology and tools, and providing technical expertise on analysis, interpretation, and presentation of findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of Research Methodology by outlining research objectives, conceptual framework, data sources, sampling strategy, target groups, geographical scope, data collection methods, data protection, ethical safeguards, risks, data analysis plan, quality assurance, and timeline.
- Development of Research Tools by developing questionnaires, interview guides, consent forms, and information sheets.
- Validation and Finalization of Methodology and Tools by presenting to the project team and stakeholders, revising based on feedback, and submitting the final package.
- Analysis, Presentation and Dissemination of Findings by reviewing and providing inputs on data analysis and interpretation, reviewing draft analytical products, and presenting the research methodology and key considerations during a public presentation.
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in sociology, social research, research methodology, human rights, or related field.
- Proven experience in developing methodologies and data collection tools.
- Proven experience in conducting research into early child marriage.
- Experience in qualitative research methods.
- Proven experience of working with Roma communities.
- Ability to analyze and interpret research findings and formulate evidence-based recommendations.
Qualifications
First degree in sociology, research methodology, or social sciences, anthropology, public policy, human rights, or a related field.
