Overview

The Human Resources Management Intern – Staff Benefits Unit will support the unit in routine administrative functions, documentation management, and coordination with the Strategy and Information Management Unit.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of routine data summaries and tracking sheets to support unit reporting activities.
  • Participate in collaboration with the Strategy and Information Management Unit to support audits of archived files.
  • Contribute to the review of archived records to help ensure completeness and proper documentation.
  • Assist in identifying missing or inconsistent files and support follow-up actions to address documentation gaps.
  • Participate in the collection, compilation, and submission of monthly inputs and reports on behalf of the unit.
  • Assist in performing other related administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor, as part of on-the-job learning and development.
Qualifications
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • Education background in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Information Management Or a related field is desirable.

Languages Required
• Fluency in English is required.
Languages Preferred
• Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.

Remuneration
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
