Overview

The assignment aims to improve the efficiency of biological monitoring activities at the Khortytsia National Reserve by recruiting students to strengthen the Reserve’s team and support its ongoing monitoring of the natural environment. This initiative seeks to ensure continuous biological monitoring to assess and document ecosystem changes and promote knowledge exchange.


Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake tasks related to biological fieldwork as instructed by Reserve staff.
  • Conduct inventory work on flora and fauna species, primarily protected categories.
  • Complete observation/encounter record sheets.
  • Map encounter locations using Google Earth and QGIS software.
  • Submit regular progress reports for UNESCO approval.
Required Experience

• Previous collaboration with the Khortytsia National Reserve is considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology (Bachelor's level).
