Overview
To provide effective specialized support and technical analyses to policy and programme activities that effectively meet food assistance needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of operational partnerships
- Coordination of Agreements & CPM Team Lead in the absence of the latter
- Convening of Technical Review Committees and Cooperating Partner Committees
- Arranging monthly coordination meetings with CPs
- Onboarding of new CPs by coordinating trainings
- Planning and coordinating CP performance evaluation
- Coordinating follow up on improvement plans
- Contributing to the overall CP training plan
- Maintaining the capacity assessment calendar and file
- Supporting field offices provide budget reviews at the TRC
- Providing training to colleagues and CPs on CPM processes
Required Experience
- A minimum of 6 years in programme area
- Experience in managing and/or developing agreements/contracts is required
- Experience in financial/budget monitoring and analysis is desired
- Experience working in NGOs or the United Nations is required
- Experience in team management, training and support is desirable
- Experience in coordinating across multiple offices and/or teams is required
- Experience working in a multicultural environment is desirable
- Has worked with technical teams (i.e. nutrition, VAM, etc.)
- Has contributed to implementation of programmes
- Has observed or assisted with policy discussions
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school education
- A post-secondary certificate in sociology, programs, or project management is desirable
