Overview
The Livelihood and Economic Inclusion Associate reports to the Head of Field Office and collaborates with partners to enhance economic inclusion and improve self-reliance of persons of concern and host community members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying opportunities and ensuring complementarity between UNHCR's protection work and economic inclusion objectives.
- Support UNHCR staff in aligning policy, operational, and programme priorities.
- Establish and maintain reporting and knowledge exchanges among stakeholders.
- Assist in engaging in development planning, programming, and coordination processes.
- Explore partnerships to enhance graduation and economic inclusion.
- Work with the multi-functional team to collect information on the legal framework for the right to work.
- Support the implementation of graduation and socioeconomic inclusion.
- Participate in assessments and surveys.
- Provide technical assistance on livelihoods and graduation strategy interventions.
- Liaise with partners and authorities on livelihoods, graduation, and economic inclusion issues.
- Prepare field reports and make recommendations for interventions.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Development Studies, Business Administration, Social Studies or related fields.
