Overview
Provide ad hoc Arabic-English language support during selected online training sessions to facilitate communication between participants and facilitators.
Key Responsibilities
- - Attend selected online bootcamp and training sessions.
- - Provide ad hoc Arabic-English language support to participants and facilitators when requested.
- - Assist participants in understanding course instructions, activities, and key messages.
- - Support communication between trainers, mentors, and participants when language barriers arise.
- - Respond to language-related questions in the chat and assist with basic communication-related troubleshooting.
- - Help foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Required Experience
- - Previous experience (at least 2 years) providing Arabic-English translation, interpretation, language support, or multilingual facilitation is required.
- - Demonstrated interest or exposure to one or more relevant topics, such as digital skills, artificial intelligence (AI), climate action, entrepreneurship, youth development, or community engagement.
- - Availability to attend scheduled online training sessions and provide ad hoc language support when required.
- - Experience supporting training programmes, workshops, educational initiatives, or community activities is an asset.
- - Previous involvement with a development organization, UN entity, NGO, community initiative, or volunteer programme is desirable.
