Overview

This assignment supports research, coordination, and programme implementation related to Future Skills and inclusive economic growth initiatives within the Sustainable Growth Team of UNDP.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct background research, literature reviews, and analysis on future skills, global value chains, trends, and skills development systems.
  • Support the preparation of reports, briefs, presentations, and knowledge products.
  • Assist in ongoing initiatives relevant to the SGT portfolio.
  • Support coordination with government counterparts, development partners, private sector actors, and other stakeholders, including organizing meetings and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to planning and implementation of activities, workshops, and events.
  • Assist in tracking project progress and maintaining internal documentation and knowledge resources.
  • Provide support in communication, documentation, and day-to-day coordination tasks.
Required Experience
  • At least one year of experience in the field of Economics, Development Studies or related social sciences.
  • Demonstrated interest in research, skills development, entrepreneurship development or sustainable economic growth through academic work, volunteering, or community engagement.
  • Experience working with government, private sector, civil society, or development partners (including volunteering experience) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of local context and stakeholders relevant to skills development is desirable.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Development Studies, or related social sciences.
