Overview

The Inclusion Analyst will support the mainstreaming of inclusion principles in recovery interventions, ensuring they address the needs of vulnerable groups and promote equitable access and inclusive recovery outcomes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day implementation of inclusion-related activities.
  • Contribute to the integration of social inclusion, gender equality, accessibility, and human rights-based approaches.
  • Provide technical support on inclusion and accessibility, including participation in accessibility assessments.
  • Support the preparation of project workplans and activity plans.
  • Facilitate inclusive and participatory approaches to project implementation.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support consultations, stakeholder coordination meetings, and participatory dialogue processes.
  • Assist in stakeholder mapping and analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance to project partners on inclusive approaches.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze data related to inclusion-related indicators.
  • Monitor implementation progress, identify inclusion-related risks or barriers, and propose solutions.
  • Conduct field visits to monitor implementation and assess inclusion and accessibility aspects.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project reports, briefing materials, and analytical updates.
  • Support documentation of project results, lessons learned, and good practices.
  • Organize trainings, workshops, and capacity-building activities.
  • Support development of knowledge products, guidance materials, and communication content.
  • Identify and document innovative practices and successful approaches.
  • Promote awareness of inclusive recovery principles and support visibility of project results.
  • Ensure the mainstreaming of gender equality, social inclusion, disability inclusion, and safeguarding principles.
  • Assist with ensuring that the project contributes to gender equality and social inclusion.
  • Ensure integration of gender equality, disability inclusion, accessibility, and protection considerations.
  • Be aware of and address relevant gender equality, social inclusion, and safeguarding issues and concerns.
  • Support the promotion of a team culture that values diversity, inclusion, and equality.
  • Demonstrate respect for diversity and inclusion in professional interactions.
  • Support the implementation and promotion of UNDP safeguarding policies.
  • Ensure accessibility of communication, information, and engagement processes.
Required Experience
  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience at the national or international level in providing services or advising on inclusion and accessibility for vulnerable and conflict-affected populations, including IDPs, persons with disabilities, veterans, women, and the elderly. Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience in the social-inclusion thematic area.
  • Experience applying construction norms and regulations on accessibility.
  • Experience in organizing and delivering trainings, workshops, and capacity-building activities on inclusion-related topics.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and coordination with government institutions, civil society organizations, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), UN agencies, and/or development partners.
Qualifications

Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field is required, or A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.
