Overview

The Operational Information Management & Reporting Officer is responsible for ensuring the availability of accurate, timely, and actionable information to support operational decision-making, donor reporting, and strategic positioning. The role focuses on translating operational data into compelling narratives and evidence-based reporting products.


Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate data from key corporate systems and partner inputs.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and gaps.
  • Develop and maintain country-level dashboards.
  • Produce regular operational updates, briefs, and visual products.
  • Lead preparation and coordination of Annual Country Report, monthly country briefs, and donor progress reports.
  • Draft high-quality reports, briefs, and talking points.
  • Translate operational data into compelling, non-technical narratives.
  • Coordinate inputs across various units and ensure consistency.
  • Manage internal review and clearance processes for reporting products.
  • Maintain repository of reports, dashboards, and key information products.
  • Document best practices, lessons learned, and case studies.
Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in roles related to data analytics, partnerships, programme management, business development, strategy, or other functions requiring synthesis of information and stakeholder coordination. Experience working with multiple stakeholders. Experience contributing to reporting, analytical, or strategic outputs. Demonstrated ability to translate data and technical content into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communication. Experience applying data, analysis, or evidence to inform planning, communication, or operational decisions. Exposure to cross-functional or multi-sectoral environments.

Qualifications

Advanced University degree in Political Science, International Development, Development Economics, International Relations, Law, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant field. First University degree with two (2) additional years of relevant work experience.

Languages Preferred
Knowledge of Kinyarwanda language is an asset.
